I am currently working as senior design consultant at SYPartners in New York City.

With more than 8 years of experience, I am an Associated Partner and Art Director at karlssonwilker inc. where I’ve been responsible for creating engaging and innovative design strategies. I have worked on a wide-range of notable design projects, such as the opening of Remai Modern in Canada, the re-branding of the Reykjavik Art Museum & Museum of the Moving Image and with MINI/BMW to mention a few.

As an associated partner at karlssonwilker I am in charge of an extensive variety of tasks and projects. Together with Jan and Hjalti, I have the opportunity of designing and further develop our design practice.

However, my main role and focus has been the one of collaborating with our clients to help them create their best brand. Ultimately, I am designer by trade and I enjoy to be hands-on on everything. Besides coordinating and directing our design team. I take pride in leading by example.

Before transitioning to New York, 8 years ago, I worked with the distinguished Oporto’s Architecture School and as a graphic designer at the Berkeley Symphony in California. 

I am very lucky to have my work be recognized across the globe and in 2010 I was the recipient of the INOV-Art grant. 

Originally from Porto, Portugal, I studied studied Fine Arts and Communication Design at Oporto’s Fine Arts Academy and Printmaking at the Academy of Fine Arts in Wroclaw, Poland.
